Local caller Jean Gorrindo teaches this hour long lesson which goes into greater depth about the art of contra dancing. In addition to a thorough introduction of many traditional figures, Jean helps dancers explore some of the more complex figures in contra dancing, while giving some style pointers and techniques along the way. She designs each clinic to meet the needs and desires of those present, from first-time dancers to seasoned pros. Experienced dancers are encouraged to attend, both to help newer dancers AND increase their own skill set.
