CCCDS is a non-profit organization under the umbrella of the national Country Dance and Song Society. Locally, we have a Board of Directors and a group of dedicated members who do all of the work behind the scenes and at the dances. Members elect the officers and the Board of Directors. We'd love for you to join us! Membership applications are available at our dances or may be downloaded here.

We have an email discussion group where dance organizers and volunteers debate current topics, such as which callers and bands to hire, how much to charge for dances, when to have meetings, etc. Some of us also arrange carpools to dances in Santa Barbara, Monterey, and beyond via the email list.
